The team at Cory Motors is fantastic! They’ve taken great care in diagnosing & repairing out Tacoma and Outback. Whenever I’ve called they’ve had me come right in and got me sorted quickly. The shop is spotless & the communication is great. Had everything from routine service to drive shaft replacement done, they’ve always been fair and honest in their assessment & recommendations. I’ve been bringing my vehicles in for years, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. The team was professional, honest, and clear about what needed to be done. It’s sometimes rare to find a mechanic who combines this, and great customer service, but this shop absolutely delivered. Highly recommended for anyone looking for reliable and trustworthy auto repair. Cory and crew are absolutely the best of the best

I know there is a default setting in Santa Barbara for German automotive specialists. But I needed a place where I could actually make an appointment in a reasonable timeframe. I checked Yelp, found Cory and did a “drive-by”. Lo and behold there was another 912 up on the racks. It was a sign. With no appointment I was welcomed by a mechanic, the boss and the spouse. We chatted about my hopes for Dad’s old car. In short order we had an appointment. The repair was done even sooner than they had estimated. Now Dad’s old car is crazy fun to drive, which was precisely what I told Cory I wanted.

I’ve been taking my cars to Cory's in Santa Barbara for over 10 years now, most notably my 1983.5 VW Vanagon. Vanagons are notorious for needing a specialized touch, and Cory's nails it. A decade later, I have never had a single issue, breakdown, or mechanical. Because of their meticulous work, I’ve been able to confidently drive through some of the most demanding terrain in the country—from the steep climbs of the Colorado Rockies to the intense, punishing heat of the Arizona deserts—without a single hiccup. The only shop I trust with my vehicles. If you want true peace of mind on the road, take your car to Cory's. Highly recommended!
